With Corona virus pandemic, India is creating a new peak every day with increasing number of cases, another negative milestone has been added to India’s account. India has jumped to the fourth position in terms of the corona cases in the world next only to USA, Brazil and Russia.
The latest jump is as per the data available on worldometer, according to which, India has surpassed USA today with 2,97,001 cases till the time the report was written. Around 9,846 cases were added today, while UK added 1,266 cases to its tally.
Active Cases in India
In another statistics, India showed the highest number of single day deaths in the world among the top 10 nations of the world with as many as 366 deaths reported in 24 hours.
India currently has 142,454 active corona cases in the country, while the world corona count has crossed 7.5 million mark.
