With China surrounded by claims of spreading Corona virus in the world, fingers are now being pointed at Canada as well. Documents from the Canadian government body Access To Information and Privacy (ATIP) have revealed that the deadly pathogen was sent from the country’s National Microbiology Lab to a lab in Wuhan, China. It contained two vials of fifteen strains of different viruses.
Following this revelation, Dr. Xinjiang Q and her husband Dr. Kading Cheng and students from China, were removed from the Level Four Lab of Canada. Canada’s Department of Health and PHAC spokesman Eric Morisset said the administrative investigation had no connection with the virus sent to China. He said that in 2019, a sample of Ebola and Nipah virus was given for scientific work and research on the application of Wuhan Institute of Virology. There is no conspiracy of any kind in this.
The investigation began after the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) asked the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to intervene in the case. Although nearly a year has passed since the expulsion of the two scientists, the investigation is incomplete so far. Only after the investigation is complete will something clear. With this attitude, Canadian scientists fear that all this is a conspiracy by China.
