Bihar Results : Voice of Fixing Responsibility Gains Momentum in Congress

Date:

After the defeat in the Bihar assembly elections, the controversy in the Congress is not taking its name. The demand for reviewing the reasons for the defeat and fixing responsibility within the party is gaining momentum. Many leaders belonging to the state are publicly advocating self-analysis. But it is unlikely that the party will take any lesson.

A senior Congress leader said that the party has been out of power in Bihar for a long time. Everyone is aware of the organization’s position as well, so the possibility of forming a committee on the reasons for defeat is less. Senior party leader and Randeep Surjewala, who is in charge of coordination in Bihar, can submit a report to the Congress President.

Party leader Tariq Anwar has advised the Congress to introspect over the defeat. Many other Congress leaders also believe that the responsibility of defeat should be fixed in the state. Until the accountability is decided, the situation will not change. With this, the state leaders are also angry with being isolated in the election campaign.

Senior leader of Bihar Pradesh Congress Kishore Kumar Jha says that accountability should be fixed by reviewing the defeat. But at the same time he adds that this review should be done by the Central Leaders’ Committee. Because, how can the person responsible himself review. The party should also take care of this.

Many party leaders believe that the reason for the defeat in Bihar is not hidden from anyone. From ticket sharing to election strategy, the party has made mistakes everywhere. This defeat has also made it clear that the central leaders cannot bypass elections to state leaders. Therefore, the party should make a change, taking lessons from defeat.
