With this, the total number of patients infected by the epidemic in the country has increased to 16116. At the same time, 31 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. With this, the figure of total deaths in the country has reached 519.
Treatment in hospitals: Presently, 13,295 COVID-19 patients are being treated in various hospitals in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people recovering from corona in the country is constantly improving. The infection has spread among 3651 people in Maharashtra, followed by 1893 in Delhi, 1407 in Madhya Pradesh, 1376 in Gujarat, 1372 in Tamil Nadu, 1351 in Rajasthan. 969 in Uttar Pradesh, 42 in Uttarakhand, 39 in Himachal Pradesh, 36 in Chhattisgarh, 35 in Assam, 34 in Jharkhand, 23 in Chandigarh, 18 in Ladakh, 14 in Andaman-Nicobar, 11 in Meghalaya, seven each in Goa and Puducherry.
Maharashtra has the highest death toll: 211 people have died due to infection. After that, 70 people have died in Madhya Pradesh, 53 in Gujarat, 42 in Delhi, 18 in Telangana, 15 each in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, five in Jammu and Kashmir.
Love Aggarwal said that no cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the last 14 days in 57 districts of 23 states and union territories. In the last 28 days, no new cases were registered in Mahe in Puducherry, Kodagu, Karnataka.
