63,000 PPE Kits Imported From China Fail Quality Test

New Delhi| While the medical practitioners and other front-line workers in the country are struggling due to the shortage of PPEs in the country, after the soaring number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country, one more shocking news is emerging out. The news is regarding the PPE kits imported from China.

About 63,000 PPE kits failed the quality test in India. The kits were tested at the Defence Research and Development Organisation laboratory in Gwalior. These are among the 6,50,000 kits imported in the country on Thursday.

The government today also accepted that the country was totally dependent on imports earlier and was not producing PPEs in the country. This shocks the entire nation, as despite the WHO warnings, no strategy and planning was done for the preparedness of the pandemic.
