The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch the Brazilian satellite Amazonia-1 and three Indian payloads on February 28 for its first mission in 2021.
One of these payloads is created by an Indian startup. These satellites will be launched via Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C-51 at 10.24 am from Sriharikota Space Port, 100 km from Chennai.
ISRO Chairman K Sivan said on Friday, the first payload to be launched is Amazonia-1. It is the first satellite to monitor the Earth which has been fully built by Brazil.
Other Indian payloads to be launched are Anand, Satish Dhawan and UnitySat. ‘Anand’ is created by India’s space startup Pixel and ‘Satish Dhawan Satellite’ is created by Space Kids India of Chennai. UnitySat is a combination of three satellites. The mission is said to be special for us and the whole country.
